What do you need?
- unflavoured gelatine
- 250 ml water
- 250 ml apple juice (or the palest juice you can find)
- blue food colouring
- one orange
- toothpicks
- printed boat sails
This makes enough for 6 small glasses, but you can modify it depending on how many you want to serve.

Preparation
Start by preparing the gelatine according to the instructions on the package (use the recommended amount for a half litre of water, because we are going to add 250 ml of water and 250 ml of juice).
We used leaf gelatine, which needs to be soaked in cold water for a few minutes and then dissolved in hot water.

Then add the blue food colouring and the juice, stir until everything is dissolved and the colour you want. Pour it into glasses and chill it in the fridge until solid.

While it’s chilling you can print and cut out our little sails. Make small slits in the top and bottom with a knife so you can stick toothpicks through to make a mast.
Now you just have to cut orange slices to be boats, stick the toothpicks with the sails into them and place them in the glasses of jelly.
