Aren’t you tired of not knowing what to make for kids’ snacks other than the traditional crisps, sweets and soft drinks?

To help you solve this dilemma we are suggesting five fantastic ideas for healthy and tasty cocktails for kids, with no alcohol of course!

Little Red Riding Hood Cocktail

500 g strawberries

200 ml water

100 ml grenadine

100 ml orange juice

3 spoonfuls of sugar

2 cups of crushed ice

To make it you just have to cut the strawberries into small pieces so they are easy to blend and add 200 ml of water. After blending, it’s best to strain it to remove the strawberry seeds. Once strained, add the juice, grenadine and sugar and blend it all together.

Before adding the crushed ice, taste and adjust for sweetness. When it’s just right, add the ice and serve in glasses with a slice of strawberry on the rim. The kids will feel super grown up with their cocktails!

Banana Cocktail

250 g strawberries

1 banana

175 ml milk

2 spoonfuls of sugar

It’s easy to make! Just like in the previous recipe the best thing to do is to blend the strawberries with the milk and strain it to remove the seeds (we love them but kids not so much…). Then mix in the banana and sugar and you’re good to go!

Don’t forget the plating, or in this case, glassing 😉 A slice of strawberry or banana on the rim looks great.

Going Green Cocktail

1 kiwi

1 avocado

Juice of half a lime

175 ml milk

2 spoonfuls of sugar

This cocktail is a bit more daring with its ingredients, but it is very healthy and once they try it they’ll love it.

You just have to blend everything together and ta-da it’s done. If it’s too sour you can sweeten it with a little more sugar or honey.

Mellow Yellow Cocktail

600 ml water

6 spoonfuls of sugar

200 ml lemon juice

2 spoonfuls of lemon zest

The best way to make this super lemon slushie cocktail is to first boil the water and sugar for 5 minutes. Then add the lemon juice and zest.

Pour the mixture into a plastic container and put it in the freezer for one hour. Take it out, stir it once and put it back in the freezer for two more hours.

For an original serving idea, you can scrape out the insides of a lemon and put it in the freezer for one hour, then pour the slushie into the lemon and decorate it with a mint leaf. Yum!

Snow White Cocktail

300 ml apple juice

300 ml orange juice

1 squeeze of lemon juice

1 spoonful of honey

Just like the other cocktails, this one is super easy to make. Just cut everything up and blend. You can serve it with an apple slice on the rim of the glass so the kids know what it is.

So there you have our five super healthy ideas for birthdays this year.

You can see how easy they are to make and we can assure you that they are delicious!
